The Face of Birth has beautiful birth stories told by amazing and diverse women who had different models of care and outcomes, yet were all empowered by the journey. Are they in the minority?  When we turn on the tellie it seems that all birthing mothers are in hospital gowns being wheeled screaming down a corridors by harassed midwives demanding drugs. Is this the face of birth today? The culture of fear surrounding birth makes it hard for new mothers to be know or understand that it is possible to have an enjoyable birth.
